On May 5 of this year, International Midwife Day was celebrated, with the theme "The world needs midwives now more than ever" where the Ministry of Health strengthened its commitment to a greater investment in maternal health quality, and the primary objective was to contribute to a healthy and free society of maternal and child mortality.

There was a health fair in the city of Inhambane, with the support of CCS, in collaboration with the Provincial Directorate of Health and Training Centre in Inhambane Health.

In 2014, the Integrated Service Center for victims of violence at Rural Hospital Chicuque opened. This office will be able to ensure quality care and comfort to victims of violence. In turn, the space contains compartments for reception, a waiting room, a police office, a psychologist's office, a social welfare office and space for a clinic visit. These infrastructures will benefit the patients of the center in the province, it is the second most complex center built in Inhambane province.
